To help answer questions you may have about the Animalog animal treatment software we have created the following FAQs. If you are unable to find the answer to your question here then simply contact the team directly.
FAQs Regarding Admin, Billing and Cancellation
- How Much Will Animalog Cost?
The monthly cost of Animalog is £50.
This works out at £600 per year, or just under £1.65 per day. This makes Animalog less than the price of a cup of coffee, and a minimal overhead for your business.
We are currently not VAT registered so not VAT is applied to this product.
- When will I be Charged for Animalog?
Our trials last 30 days from the date that your trial is set up by a member of our team, these trials are free of charge. Unless you cancel your trial before the day your trial expires, on the final day of your free trial you will be sent an invoice to cover the quarterly payment. This invoice can be paid by Standing Order, PayPal, Credit/Debit Card
- Can I pay annually instead of monthly for my Animalog account?
Yes, when payment is due for the first quarter contact support@animalog.co.uk and tell us that you wish to pay annually. You can change to annual billing at any point, but please allow your quarterly contract to finish first.
- Can I pay via Cheque?
No, unfortunately cheque payment is not accepted at this time.
- Can I pay via Direct Debit / Standing Order?
We do not currently offer a Direct Debit payment option; it is something that will be introduced in due course. However, if you wish to set up a standing order via your bank/building society then that is entirely up to you.
- I wish to cancel my Animalog account, how do I do this?
If you wish to close and cancel your Account, you may do so at any time, providing that you cancel your Animalog account before the end of your quarterly invoice then the next quarterly invoice for the next period issued will then be cancelled and no further payment will be required Paid Subscriptions fees are non-refundable.

- Can I export data?
You can export data from your Animalog account. Currently, you will need to submit a request to our support team, however we are working on new functionality which will allow you to do this yourself.
- What businesses can use Animalog?
Animalog is an animal treatment software. This means that it is designed to be used by businesses and organisations, such as - Animal Therapy Providers - Kennels - Catteries - Stabling Facilities - Animal Groomers, Zoo’s. and many more. If you are unsure on whether Animalog is the software for you then why not take advantage of our free 30-day trial.
- Is there support?
Yes.
If you have any questions or queries regarding your Animalog account then simply contact the team. They can be contacted via the 'Support' section within your Animalog account or they can be contacted directly via support@animalog.co.uk.
On top of this, there is an easy to follow help guide within your Animalog account which explains each feature. We will soon be publishing user videos as well to help those that want to watch a help guide instead of reading a help guide.
If you require further support or training then a member of the team can arrange a suitable time to call and assist.
- Is there a Guide to help me get to grips with Animalog?
We pride ourselves on our easy to use and intuitive pet treatment software.
However, if you need assurance or a little point in the right direction then there is a 'Help' section within your Animalog account. This 'Help' section contains an easy to follow guide to the various features within Animalog.
We are also working on user videos which will be linked within the 'Help' section for those who prefer to learn via watching instead of reading.
Of course, if you do have a question or require assistance at any point you can contact the Animalog directly and our team will assist. Within your Animalog user area there is an easy to use support section which allows you to submit your questions and keep track of responses.
FAQs Regarding Technology and Data Use/Storage
- Does Animalog follow UK data protection regulations and GDPR?
Yes.
Animalog takes data protection and security extremely seriously. Our system is designed with data protection and the requirements for GDPR at the forefront. This keeps your data safe, your client's data safe, and gives you peace of mind.

- Where is my data stored?
All data collected by Animalog of our users are stored in the UK within a secure and protected server. Our data storage follows all data protection and GDPR requirements. All data collected by Animalog users of their clients, their team and their suppliers are also stored within the UK on a secure and protected server. Regular backups are taken and our data storage follows all data protection and GDPR requirements. Animalog does not sell or pass data to third parties. - Will Animalog work on my computer?
The Animalog software is web-based, this means that you only need access to the internet to access your Animalog account. The great thing about this is that providing your computer or laptop can access the internet, you can run Animalog on any machine, whether they be Windows based, Mac based or even Linux based. There is no software to download and should there be a problem with the computer you normally use you can simply log into another without any issues.
- Can I access Animalog on my tablet or phone.
Yes, you can access Animalog on your tablet or phone providing that device has access to the internet as Animalog is a web-based software.
However, you may find it easier to navigate Animalog, view multiple calendars and complete forms accurately on a larger screen usually associated with a laptop or computer.
- How many users can I have within my Animalog account?
Animalog is intended to be used by your entire business, therefore you can have as many users for your Animalog account as you wish to have. Whether that is 2 users, 5 users, 20 users or 1,000 users.
- Can I restrict access to certain users within my Animalog account?
Yes. Within your Animalog account, you can restrict access to individual users for security purposes.
You can also remove access to individuals immediately via your Animalog account at the click of a button.
- What happens if I forget my password to my Animalog account?
If you forget your password for your Animalog account, we are all human after all, then simply head to the login page for your Animalog account and click on the 'Forgotten Password' link. Clicking on this 'Forgotten Password' link sends a new password to the email address registered to your Animalog account - check your spam/junk if you don’t receive an email within a few minutes. Our support team via support@animalog.co.uk.
- How many devices can be logged into my Animalog account at once?
Unlimited.
There is no limit to the number of devices that can be used at any one time within the same Animalog account. Therefore if you have multiple members of staff they can all be logged into their own user account of your Animalog account at the same time.
